BalancedLactation.com does not collect any personal information from visitors, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses, unless provided voluntarily through a contact form, email, or booking system.

Bookings with Balanced Lactation will require the collection of identifiable personal, financial and health data in accordance with Australian Law. On occasions third party providers may use cloud services to provide storage of your personal, financial and health data which may be stored in Australia or offshore.

Balanced Lactation will protect the privacy of your personal health information as required by the Privacy Act 1988, privacy laws for health information relevant to NSW, and in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.

Use of personal information: 

Balanced Lactation uses personal and health information to undertake clinical assessments as well as develop lactation plans for the Client. Personal information will also be used for the purpose of issuing receipts and responding to inquiries from the Client or fulfilling requests from the Client. Personal information may also be used where necessary, and in agreement with the Client, in correspondence with a General Practitioner or other health professional. 

Non-personal information: 

BalancedLactation.com may use cookies and may collect non-personal information such as internet traffic information, the type of web browser used, the operating system used, and the IP address of the device being used to access the website. This information is used to improve the website and to ensure systems are functioning properly. Non-personal information may also be collected by BalancedLactation.com for statistical purposes.
